It had to happen eventually. In fact I’m amazed it didn’t happen sooner. Yes, 59 shows in and FINALLY me and Tom both brought in the same track to air. What was the track? Jammer’s acid-friendly new one, “Party Animal”, which takes its place alongside the ever-reliable Maytals, Mr Chop reworking Pete Rock, Fulgeance on the remix and Les Crane being… well… flat out strange if I’m honest…

As we tumble towards the year’s end we thought it was high time you got your next fix of Trick and Wrongtom – especially after we promised to do shows with more frequency from now on.

Coming up on this show: two exclusive – EXCLUSIVE!! – tracks from Mr Chop’s forthcoming Lightworlds LP (er, or EP… we’re not actually sure at the mo), the track from Purple Rain nobody released before now, Clint Eastwood (the MC, not the actor/director), Trick’s favourite late-90s dancefloor smasher (aka “Killa” by Smith & Mighty), Stone’s Throw’s soul hope Mayer Hawthorne and – in a rare bout of continuity and forethought – The Blue Aeroplanes…

… in which Trick starts the show without Tom, who was stuck somewhere on public transport having his own nightmares. Music comes courtesy of the b-side to Match of the Day, Albert King, Harry Belafonte, Mr Chop and a load more. Also featured is dirty space disco and a wholly impressive rant about the NME. Beware kids – this one gets sweary!
