bloghouse-artAKA “The Shock Of The New”. Being the end of the month its Theme Special time again, and this week, what with Trick being fresh back from Disneyland (no, seriously), Tom suggested a simple theme: 100% new tracks. The idea was that this would be an easy one to manage… and of course it proved to be anything but…

However! Redemption was at hand, certainly for Trick when he discovered the awesome (and wholly slept-on) Phil and the Osophers, who single-handedly restored his faith in the DIY punk ethic. Factor in a re-appearance (in voice at least) from Ed Zed, a plethora of excellent communication from our listeners and a bunch of fine selections and this is, if we’re honest, possibly the best show since, er, last week. Get stuck in people!

Tracklisting:
Prefuse 73 -- “Relief Choir”
My Toys Like Me -- “Sweetheart”
Rambrandt -- “Alarm”
Tara Busch -- “This Love”
Discovery -- “Orange Shirt”
Phil and the Osophers -- “We Have All Summer”
Horace Andy -- “Watch We (Mr Benn Remix)”
Anti Pop Consortium -- “Apparently”

and the soundbed was another one of Paul White’s Strange Dreams: “Riding The Clouds”
