Kane Re-enabled.2

A fair few people have been in contact recently asking what happened to my Kanetiquette mix from last year. It seems being the tiresome luddite I am, the original copy I uploaded was low quality and heaven forbid, in mono. So after turning over my already cluttered studio, I uncovered the original copy, passed it on to my more technologically advanced associate Trick who kindly added it to this here site for your downloading pleasure.

For those that missed it the 1st time round, having tackled the world of the now very long in the tooth mash-up with my Cassetiquette mix back in 2007, I decided to do some tribute mixes starting with this one from April last year.

The rough plan was to churn out a few of these but so far I’ve only got round to Kanetiquette which covers the early years of J. Saul Kane aka Depth Charge aka Octagon Man aka… Now the drunken master of DC Recordings Mr Kane has been behind god knows how many excellent records making dubbed out instro-hiphop way before it was sullied with the trip hop moniker and creating a platform for a new breed of psychedelic, electro, go go experimetation from the likes of Arcadian, Emperor Machine, Big 200, Kelpe and so on.

Kanetiquette itself is split into three 10 minute sections with my usual brand of crap puns ensuing, some of it’s been re-edited, some of it’s dubbed, some of it’s cut up in a slap dash fashion but it’s all done in the best possible taste, track list follows…
